Loving this vibe, white noise-induced insanity! :)

Such a great aesthetic. It's refreshing to see a new take on visual novels.

I bought the game of course but besides that, I have to say that the demo that I played a few years back gave me a reason to get back into game development as an artistic medium. Finally during quarantine I picked it up and made a game with similar visual style!

You never know the impact you have in the world, you surely inspired me! Who knows what other things this game may have affected. It's amazing how someone's art impacts real people lives anywhere in the world.

Good stuff.

That's awesome! I'm happy to hear that. Wish you best of luck!

This ended up being way creepier then I expected, good use of a real life creep lmao

Which engine did you make this game on?

Hey man, I'm trying to get in contact with you. Are you planning on translating the game? Me and a few friends are offering help with brazillian portuguese for free. Hit me up at pedrovilardo@hotmail.com if you feel interested

I'm so excited for the full game. Critters For Sale is weird and bizarre. It also manages to be funny and disturbing at the same time.

just made a video on snake story

The mesemerising blend of sinister and grainy visuals and unhinged writing that's fired from the hip tells me that a demon coded this using either Disunity or Surreal Engine. It makes up for the lack of intricate narrative design and writing with a clever aesthetic that makes you laugh and interface elements that just feel good to click. Each story is short enough to avoid being too annoying to play them each twice and see the possible paths. Absolutely noided experience that I'm looking forward to continue following.

Still excited for more of this, it's one of my favourite ongoing projects!

VERY INTERESTING GAME!!!

(1 edit)

downloaded the game like, 30 minutes ago? and saw how you fixed the bug with goat, but it still freezes at the tent sequence for me. tried re-downloading but it's the same. still an astounding game though i fuckin love it

I played this back in January! It was quite the interesting game.

The visuals in this game... Just wow. Everything about this was just so amazing and I felt like I was dreaming in a way, very good job! :D

I don't know if you've heard of Game Development World Championship before (gdwc2019) but it's a competition for indie game developers where they can submit their games and it's free! It's great if you want some more visibility for the game and it only takes a couple of minutes to join :)

This is amazing my dude, please continue. I'll give you money when I can. My only issue, albeit a small one, is that you have to replay everything to get the different endings, and scrolling through the same dialogs takes you out of it a little. Little things like a new line of dialog that you can't automatically skip that tells you something new would be refreshing. Thats my only issue and it's really small really because this is perrrrfect and i love it so much

(+2)

everything about this is SPECTACULAR! I absolutely cannot wait for more!!

(+2)

Really like it so far, but, as a recommendation, I'd use a version without vocals for the song that plays near the end of the Snake story. It's pretty distracting, especially if you understand Russian.

(+2)(-1)

I really like that song!  It's catchy!  What's it called and who's the artist?

(+2)

I liked that song too! He credits it if you check the title screen... Its by Utro and the song is “Незнакомая сила” ...here’s a YouTube link:

(+3)

Thanks!  Sorry I have a tendency to miss the obvious... lol

(+2)

Holy shit!  There's a whole album and it all makes my ears sploosh!  Thanks Parkercatherine and Sonoshee!!

(+4)

Love it so far! The visuals are mesmerizing.

Very interesting visuals, really enjoyed that.

Don´t stop!

With this first story played, the game offers an art style and story that pull you into this surreal world. Even though there aren't a lot of characters in this story yet, the ones you meet feel real and distinct from each other.  Plus some fitting music and you got me hooked for the full game! Good job so far!
